Charity Quilt Drop from Becca's Crazy Projects

On Saturday I dropped off 16 quilted charity quilts.
I also dropped off 21 tops that I pieced. I'm sure I'll see them again next month once they've been paired with backing.
I picked up a stack of fabric to cut out some more quilts to stitch up.

Fast Finish from ... Cat Patches

Good morning, my friends. It's a gray, foggy, and rainy day. I wish we could send this moisture to Los Angeles. It's the one day of rain we're expecting. We should be back to sunshine and blue skies by tomorrow.

My day was pretty easy yesterday. I took a walk on the treadmill, and then I went to work baking some Carrot-Apple Muffins with Citrus Glaze. I swear there were a dozen when I took them out of the oven. Mike snagged one before I could get a picture.

In all honesty, I snagged one right after ...

Charity Quilting from Becca's Crazy Projects

On Monday I managed to get my Innova longarm back up and running with the help of the amazing technicians at ABM International. Sometimes you need to ask for help, and that's okay.
After that, I got a charity quilt loaded and quilted. It's great to be quilting again. I pieced this scrappy trip around the world earlier in the year.
This one was made using some leftover backing fabric and blue scraps. That narrow, red border makes it pop! Both trimmed and ready for Annapolis Quilts for Kids.

If you want to contribute but don't have ...

Seasonal Work from ... Cat Patches

Good morning, my friends. 'Tis the season to work on my seasonal quilts, apparently, because that was how I spent my day yesterday. Sadie was there to help.

And lucky me...I had two kitty helpers.

Smitty's job was to mind the rulers.

With so much help, it was easy finishing off the quilt top for the Seasons quilt.

And I guess I won't be traveling south to The Cotton Patch after all because I took a second look at my stash and came up with these two long-time residents. I had three yards of each, which was ...

Quilts for Kids from Becca's Crazy Projects

On Saturday I dropped off eight quilt tops to Annapolis Quilts for Kids. I've been piecing these when I can. The computer for my long arm went on a vacation (the hard drive failed) so I haven't been able to use the robotics. This changes the time commitment for charity quilting so I haven't managed to get any quilted in about a month.
I also picked up a stack of fabrics to mix in with the scraps I have. I'm cutting out blocks for even more tops.

If you want to contribute but don't have ...
